Mr. Short A. Willis

I write you a few lines requesting you to come down and see me if you can possibly do so as I am about getting off my corn and want to see you to see if we can't make an exchange in corn as it will save me of the trouble of moving.  I also want to get your blade fodder if you are willing to take what I can get for mine.  I also heard Mr. Eccleston say he wanted to see you therefore your company is very much requested in this neighborhood.  If you will come down to my house I will go down to Bucktown with you -- Your immediate compliance with the above will greatly oblige your humble servt.
