Thomas Clifton, of East New Market, killed a panther fifteen months old this week that tipped the scales at 507 pounds.
The county has had a number of visitors from New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore this past week, having come down on hunting expeditions. They succeeded in bagging quite a lot of game.
