Successful Meeting…
Thank you for your attendance and support at the Oxford Place Neighborhood Meeting and get-together held on February 27th. Forty-five of the 108 properties were represented at the meeting. Good attendance considering that the neighborhood consists of about 26 unimproved lots, 70 completed homes and another 12 homes under construction. The meeting was very productive, started on time, and actually ended a little early. In addition to the agenda items, the board addressed several excellent questions from residents. Everyone left this meeting feeling good about Oxford Place and their fellow neighbors.
Budget and Neighborhood Maintenance Fee…
For 2003, the annual neighborhood maintenance is $150. An invoice is enclosed with the newsletter. The owner of record as of April 1, 2003 is responsible for the payment. The payment is due on April 30, 2003. Please send your payment on time.
Lights…
[Need the latest.] Total cost $4100 + $400 to York Electric? If you notice a problem with a street light near your house please call York Electric at 803 xxx-xxxx. No need to report the light to a board or committee member. York Electric is usually very prompt and has the light fixed within 2-3 days.
The 2003 Board Members
After much encouragement, two residents stepped forward to serve on the board. Attendance (or proxy) by 54 of the 108 property owners constitutes a quorum so that an official vote can be held. Since we did not a have a quorum at the meeting, the new 2003 board will be considered an interim board until another meeting is held and a quorum is reached.
