The East New Market Corporate limits were separated from the rest of the District 2 of Dorchester County for the first time on the 1849 Tax Assessment List. Prior to 1849, East New Market was combined with the rest of New Market District 2. For the 1852 list, it appears the tax assessor made minor updates to a few estate amounts (in yellow). New people were not not added, but Mary Bramble replaced her deceased husband, Jeremiah. I have also included dwelling number and occupation from the 1850 Census.
