Charles Edward Collins and Ella Allard Collins are buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Baltimore.  Currently their graves are not marked.

After the death of his mother, a month before his ninth birthday, Frank W. Collins was raised by his aunt, Margaret Jennett Allard Reinhart and her husband Percy Reinhart.

Frank W. Collins was told stories about his father that he had mentioned to his wife, Helen Wolfe Collins.  Helen had been a widow for over 25 years when shared what she remembered in the early 1990s.  She recalled her late husband telling her that his father Charles Edward Collins had once worked on waterways as an oysterman.  His father was a drinker and a cigarette fiend.  He also had one leg shorter than the other.  She did not know much more other than Charles Edward Collins was from "East New Market".
