Harry Wright Newman (1894-1983)

Harry Wright Newman was an accomplished author, genealogist, and historian.  He was very well known as a genealogist in Maryland and authored several well known genealogy books and many more lesser known books.   Mr. Newman authored his first book in 1933 and his last book in 1983.

I compiled a bibliography of many of the books that Mr. Newman authored and published.

Many of Mr. Newman's books can be found in selected libraries across the country.  One can also find most every book he authored cited somewhere on the internet.  Despite the extensive work he did to document his own family history as well as those of others, I could not find any personal information about Mr. Newman in print.   So I did a little research on my own...
