The Comprehensive History of a Small Town on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

The Old Jonesborough High School was built in 1926. In 1980, over $1,000,000 was invested to restore the building and divide it into 13 luxury condos.

Dr. Anthony Lafayette Manning (1831–1878) was a larger-than-life resident of East New Market and Baltimore, Maryland in the 19th century. This highlights his poetry, prose, personal history, and eccentricities, along with the mystery of his missing book of poetry and prose. Thirteen of his poems have been discovered as of 2026. Each has been set to music, with the poems serving as the lyrics.
