Calloway for $6,000:  his half interest in a lot on the west side of Main Street;  Beginning at a granite monument inside the sidewalk at the west line of Main Street at the North line of the Thomas Gambriel property; thence running with line of said sidewalk and Main Street;  north 25 degrees, east 78 feet to an iron fence post set in concrete at the south line of H. Webster McAllen property, formerly owned by Julian Richardson, thence running with line of same and town of East new Market property; North 65 degrees West 303 feet to an iron pipe on the angle of a deep drainage ditch at the east line of Franklin Isenberg property adjoining on the west; thence running by and with line of same and the bottom of said drainage ditch; South 25 degrees West 78 feet to an iron pipe at the North line of first mentioned Thomas Gambriel property; thence running with line of same and a wire fence; South 65 degrees East 303 feet to beginning.  Being the same property conveyed unto Robert E. Legg by Norman Pennypacker and Margaret A. Pennypacker, his wife, by deed dated February 15, 1978, and recorded among the land records PLC 203/765.

203 PLC 765 - 15 February 1978 - Norman & Margaret A Pennypacker to Robert E Legg & Michael Calloway for $5:  an undivided 1/2 interest each in lot on west side of Main Street.  Described as above in PLC 209/159.  Same land conveyed to Norman Pennypacker and Margaret A. Pennypacker, his wife, by deed 2 August 1967, PLC 152/637.
152 PLC 637 - 2 August 1967 - Allen L & Sylvia A Satterfield to Norman & Margaret Pennypacker for $5:  Beginning at a granite monument inside the sidewalk at the west line of Main Street at the North line of the Thomas Gambriel property; thence running with line of said sidewalk and Main Street;  north 25 degrees, east 78 feet to an iron fence post set in concrete at the south line of Julian Richardson property, formerly owned by M.S. Fletcher, thence running with line of same and town of East new Market property; North 65 degrees West 303 feet to an iron pipe on the angle of a deep drainage ditch at the east line of Franklin Isenberg property adjoining on the west; thence running by and with line of same and the bottom of said drainage ditch; South 25 degrees West 78 feet to an iron pipe at the North line of first mentioned Thomas Gambriel property; thence running with line of same and a wire fence; South 65 degrees East 303 feet to beginning.  Being the same and identical land, that was conveyed by Alda Robbins, husband, and others, by deed dated 18 July 1961,  PLC 124/448.

Bramble, his wife, and Helen B. Anthony & Charles E. Anthony Jr, her husband, to Allen L Satterfield & Sylvia A Satterfield, his wife for $5:  lot on west side of Main Street.  Same description as in PLC 152/637.  Being the same lot which by deed 2 January 1926, JFD 17/448, was granted and conveyed by Charles H. Blake and Estella Blake, his wife, unto Ethel A. Brannock.  The said Ethel A. Brannock died intestate on 24 August 1960, leaving surviving her as her sole heirs at law, Alda C. Robbins, Elizabeth B. Travers, Sallie L. Stewart, John M. Bramble, and Helen B. Anthony, five of the within named Grantors.

14 JFD 448 - 2 January 1926 - Charles H Blake & Estella Blake, his wife, to Ethel A Brannock for $5:  Lot in East New Market on west side of Main Street; bounded on the east by said Main Street, on the north by the property formerly owned by M.S. Fletcher and town property, on the west by the property of George W. Isenberg, and on the south by the property of Thomas Gambriel.  Being the same property conveyed unto the said Charles H. Blake by Elizabeth Phillips, by deed dated 24 October 1918, WHM 5/255, and also being the property devised unto the said Elizabeth Phillips by the fifth item of the last will of Mary V. Payne, deceased RPS 2/73.

Mr. Airey Brannock has purchased the house and lot occupied by Mrs. Jones and her son, Mr. Sam Jones, and will build a garage there, and he has purchased of Mr. Chas. Blake his residence, where he and Mrs. Brannock will reside.
